Gov. John Bel Edwards announced that Louisiana will move the state into Phase 3 of the reopening plan. This will allow most businesses to operate at 75% capacity and to allow bars to open statewide. Bars will be allowed to open indoors at 25% and move to 50% if the parish has a low positivity rate. Live music will be allowed indoors. Bars and restaurants can’t sell alcohol after 11pm. Gyms and fitness centers will stay at 50%. Religious services will not have capacity limits.

This is the second time the sate has been in Phase 3. Edwards moved the state back to a modified Phase 2 back in November.
Edwards said that “we’re currently moving in the right direction and have been for several weeks now”
