There are several boil water advisories currently in effect throughout Acadiana.

Please stay current on the latest news regarding local advisories to ensure that your water is safe to drink, cook with, etc.

Our news partner, KADN News15, has an updated list of boil advisories on their website for Acadiana, Evangeline, St Landry, St Martin, Lafayette, and Vermilion Parishes.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, “Use bottled or boiled water for drinking, and to prepare and cook food. If bottled water is not available, bring water to a full rolling boil for 1 minute (at elevations above 6,500 feet, boil for 3 minutes). After boiling, allow the water to cool before use.”
