According to a report posted by CNN, A rare notebook containing handwritten lyrics from hit Beatle’s songs is set to go on display at a museum in Liverpool. England.

The article stated that this previously unseen notebook contains handwritten lyrics to “Hey Jude” by Paul McCartney, a part-lyric for “Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band” and George Harrison’s recording notes for the song “All You Need is Love.”

Reportedly, it also contains doodles from all four band members and unveils some of the inspiration behind the band’s revolutionary 1967 album “Sgt. APepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.”, as well as their self-titled record released the following year.

According to a press statement from The Beatles Story museum, The notebook belonged to the group’s tour manager Mal Evans. Mal Evans’ widow, Lily Evans, put the book up for auction at Sotheby’s in 1998. It was sold for £100,000 to Liverpool businessman Alan Murphy. Mal Evans became The Beatles’ road manager in 1963, and was part of the band’s “trusted inner circle,” the press release stated.

Formed in Liverpool in 1960, then breaking up in 1970, The Beatles’ legacy far outlives their short 10-year span as one of the world’s most groundbreaking rock bands.

The group had 19 No. 1 hit across their career, according to the Grammy Awards website. They took the world by storm with iconic album covers, genre-defying records, and Beatlemania- the coined term used to describe the fanatical hype surrounding the group.
